The company was founded in 1987 by Lloyd McDonald. At that time there was nobody specializing in Waterproofing or Dampproofing in the Chatham-Kent Area.
Soon, Lloyd's son Jeff joined the firm, and they have expanded their business to offer a number of services including a variety of commercial coatings and sealers.
The firm is well known and trusted by the area's top builders for their expertise and experience in the field. Detailed Specialties Inc. serves the needs of both commercial and residential builders as well as the needs of the individual homeowner.
Being a small, family - run business, the firm has thrived over the years, and both Lloyd and Jeff take pride in operating their business on a foundation of old-fashioned personal service plus quality products and expert installation.
